I'd like to enable re-prompt for restart with scheduled updates at 6 hours.
I do NOT want it to auto restart, I just want it to prompt/remind the user to do it when it's an acceptable time for them.
You can use Group Policy settings or mobile device management (MDM) to configure the behavior of Windows Update (WU) on your Windows 10 devices.
You can configure the update detection frequency, select when updates are received, specify the update service location and more.
Automatic Updates Detection Frequency controls how frequently devices scan for updates.
You can make custom device groups that'll work with your internal Microsoft update service by using Enable client-side targeting.
The option to download files with missing Urls allows content to be downloaded from the Alternate Download Server when there are no download Urls for files in the update metadata.
There is language in the explanation for this GPO setting which says, "If the status is set to Enabled, a scheduled restart will occur the specified number of minutes after the previous prompt for restart was postponed" This is in conflict with the No auto restart with logged on users setting. I really don't want to enable it and watch what happens.
When replying, please don't give me a best guess, it would not be great to be wrong as it could stop production and be an expensive mistake.

This option should only be used when the intranet update service does not provide download Urls in the update metadata for files which are present on the alternate download server.
